perihal minyak

Image hosted by Photobucket.comlast week the government announced that the petrol price was up; 10 sen a litre for petrol and 20 sen for diesel -just 2 months after the previous increase...

the reason for the increase is to reduce the government subsidy, which are currently amounted to RM6 billion... so now the government could save up to RM1 billon with the new price... err i guess everyone has already knew that...

hmm...

i remember the time when i left Petronas station in Meru on Sept 10 2003, the price was RM1.30 per litre... now the price is RM1.58; my obligation soon to have an additional 28 sen the next time when i'm going to the same petrol station again... but that one is for 1 litre, how about 30 litres? how much i need to pay for the same quantity of litres?

oraite, lets do some calculation... here we make a comparison, based on my weekly consumption on petrol... normally in Malaysia, i spent RM35 petrol expenses per week for my daily commute to the classes and to go out berfoya foya...(sekali isi je... biar kasik full tank terus, stok seminggu)

2 years ago, with RM35 paid i got 26.923 litres... but now it worth only 21.875 litres...

look, i will lose 5.048 litres... the lost quantity that is sufficient enough for a return drive from Klang to KL, i reckon...

people in malaysia may get used to it quickly, as the price was increased gradually... but for me, a change from RM1.30 straight to RM1.58 per litre is quite significant... i might be shocked! remembering the litres i got 2 years ago... surely that's alot of money i need to prepare soon...

but instead of muttering and complaining for something that we are not absolutely able to avoid, better we start creating the solutions and plan for some changes in our lives... maybe some of them are not easy to do, but other people in other countries have already proved it and they are simply applying it right now... so why can't we do the same way for our sake, and for the sake of future generations? stop wasting and reduce the consumption of oil, as well as other energy sources (electricty and water), recycling, stop wasting food, sharing vehicle, stop making polutions... err what else? so many things la... those that are associated with oil and gas, in order to prevent the situation from getting worse...Image hosted by Photobucket.com

like the Deputy Prime Minister said that Malaysia could not able to export the crude oil anymore in 19 years time, because the oil reserves are now diminishing... i think everyone should start to worry with that fact and think about it... it may happen much sooner than we could possibly anticipate... all we need to do is make sure that the crude oil will lasting more than it was expected... because 19 years is just a short period of time... and the year 2024 is not too far away... hoping in the future, we have already found the alternatives to oil and gas...

maybe at that time i'm sending my children to school by bicycle since it require only my energy to pedal up, or we can use water extracted from air longkang or Sungai Klang to run our car engines...

who knows? hehehe...

and now i'm waiting for another increase...it might happen very soon...

balik kot...

i feel a bit dizzy, and all i wanna think of is to go back to Malaysia... for some strong reason it is no good for me to stay here any longer, and i'm not going to waste my time in here anymore than i have to... tired of doing nothing, getting nothing and being useless...

yeah finally i've made the decision...

thanks to those who concern about me, who keep giving advices and supporting me... man i can't find the solutions and solve it alone without the helps of you guys... many thanks... hopefully it will turned into a damn real right decision...

hmm i think this is the right time to start packing and fitting some of my stuff into the luggages...

hmm...

tinggalkan laptop kejap, nak mengemas sikit...
